Like every year, the traditions of Jāņi are restored at the Turaida Museum Reserve, celebrating the summer solstice festival.

On the shortest night of the year, you are invited to feel the magic of the solstice, surviving the ancient traditions, such as yard flowering, making wreaths, making cheese, singing songs, seeing off the sun, as well as fire rituals, ancient dances, hunting away witches, dew picking and sun welcoming ritual in the morning.

The event will allow you surviving all midsummer night events from evening until the morning light in harmony with nature.
