Kemeri Health Resort building

A boiler house and the block of the medical institution was built in 1924 based on the project by architect E.Stalbergs. Divisions of sulphur water, carbon dioxide and slime baths were set up in the block. There is a sulphur spring in the yard of the building used for bathing.

Stylistically the hotel is one of the most striking examples of neo-eclectism in Latvian architecture. It was financed by the state and cost 2.5 million lats. This is a classicism style five-storey building with columns and pilasers. It is currently under reconstruction.
