In 19th century, the manor belonged to the family of Barons von Hahn. The house was built between 1845 and 1860. The original design of the building was developed by an architect from Courland Governorate, E.J.A. Strauss, and the house was further expanded by an unknown architect in 1858-1859.
The ensemble includes a 20 ha park, servants' quarters, laundry facilities, a chapel, a pond, the Hahn family cemetery, and other sites. The manor is featured in legends and lore which you will hear when visiting the place. The building now accommodates a school.
