In anticipation of the XXV Latvian Nation-Wide Song and XV Dance Festival to be held in Riga from June 30 to July 7 and in cooperation with Latvian Embassy to Ireland and the Latvian Society in Ireland choir ''eLVç'', the second Latvian Culture Days will take place in Ireland on May 4 and 5 in the Temple Bar district of Dublin, LETA was informed by the Foreign Ministry's press and information department.

As spring melts away a long winter deep in Latvia's vast forests, the stillness is almost imperceptibly broken by a rhythmic drip, drip, drip. A small black tube protrudes from the trunk of a leafless tree growing among spruces, birches and pines.
