''Customers of ''airBaltic'', when asked about preferred destinations in Central Europe, have always requested Budapest, and we are delighted to now open this new route to the charming city to connect it to destinations in Scandinavia, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States,'' the airline's chief commercial officer Tero Taskila points out.
As of May 16, ''airBaltic'' will offer flights from Riga to Budapest four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 34 (EUR 49), including airport and transaction fees. Passengers will board Bombardier Q400 aircraft for flights that will last for two hours and 15 minutes.
''airBaltic'' serves 80 destinations from its home base in Riga.
