Broderick, best known for his stint with Danish indie rock group "Efterklang", appears in Latvia for the second time, and this time out, he has selected an unusual concert setting – Riga Dome Cathedral (March 18 at 7 p.m.). Broderick in fact accepted an offer to perform there by the "Mans Doms" movement, which will forward the money from ticket sales for the planned stained glass window in the Cathedral.
"Thanks to the strings and the choir, I will finally be able to perform live selections from my first album "Float". Part Two of the concert will be several new compositions with vocals; I find this to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – playing Riga Dome with these musicians," comments Broderick.
Versatile is the word for Broderick, as he has ventured into acoustic, electronic, experimental, folk, classical, ambient and soundtrack. Devotees say he has a subtle, romantic and atmospheric touch, each work is a "non-verbal conversation with music".
