Celebrating the first anniversary of "BalticBike", it is offering five special bicycle routes, so that visitors to Riga and Jurmala can enjoy the beauty of the cities from the point of view of a bicyclist. The routes provide the opportunity to see the historic center of Riga, the parks of Riga and Pardaugava, the Ethnographic Open Air Museum, as well as the most remarkable places in Jurmala. As already reported, since the beginning of April 2011, the number of local inhabitants using bicycles has increased. "BalticBike" bicycles are being used in order to get from one rental point to another, which means that, thanks to the competitive rental price, 70 santims per hour, the popularity of "BalticBike" bicycles increases among inhabitants of both Riga and Jurmala.
