One of four regular international country music festivals in Europe takes place every summer in Bauska; this time the second weekend in July (8th and 9th). On the bill are the very best Baltic groups, and special guests “Hillbilly Deluxe” from Germany and “Modern Earl” from Nashville, USA.

In tune with the best of festival traditions, alongside the “Country Bauska” stage, a tent city will be set up. Since 1999, its attendance has grown tenfold, with large numbers of fans from foreign countries.

Fans can certainly savour the scenic surroundings in beautiful summer weather, where the Musa and Memele rivers meet. And, of course, the festival grounds themselves – the ruins of majestic Bauska Castle.

For many country music devotees in Latvia and beyond, the Bauska festival is an eagerly-awaited event, a place to hook up with old friends, listen to good music, sit back and relax.
