Cesis has considerable growth potential - Belgian ambassador

The town of Cesis has considerable growth potential and its businessmen are performing convincingly, Belgian Ambassador to Latvia Frank Arnauts admitted after visiting Cesis and meeting local businessmen yesterday, LETA was informed Cesis Regional Council spokeswoman Ance Saulite.

The town of Cesis has considerable growth potential and its businessmen are performing convincingly, Belgian Ambassador to Latvia Frank Arnauts admitted after visiting Cesis and meeting local businessmen yesterday, LETA was informed Cesis Regional Council spokeswoman Ance Saulite.

Arnauts met with Cesis Regional Council Chairman Janis Rozenbergs (Unity) to discuss business activity, export development and employment. The ambassador said that he was delighted to visit Cesis and meet local businessmen.

The sides also discussed cooperation opportunities in culture.

Arnauts said that he had visited Cesis several times before - unofficially, with his family. According to the ambassador, Cesis is one of Latvia's most beautiful towns, Saulite told LETA.
