Elton John to perform concert in Riga in November

In November, legendary British singer and pianist Elton John will perform a concert in Riga, LETA was informed by concert agency ''FBI'' spokesman Kristaps Karklins.

In November, legendary British singer and pianist Elton John will perform a concert in Riga, LETA was informed by concert agency ''FBI'' spokesman Kristaps Karklins.

The concert will take place on November 3 at ''Arena Riga''.

Sir Elton John is one of the most successful musicians in history, selling over 250 million copies of his albums worldwide.
He has written over 50 hits, including such songs as "Your Song", "Rocket Man", "Crocodile Rock", "Daniel", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Candle In The Wind", "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me", "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word" and many more.
Elton John will arrive in Riga with his band and will perform many of his greatest hits.

His latest album ''The Union'' was released in 2010.

Tickets to the concert will go on sale on August 16 at all ''Bilesu Serviss'' ticket outlets throughout the country.
Tickets will cost from LVL 20 to 50.
