10.09.2012

One of the world's most famous alternative rock bands - "Garbage" - will perform a concert at the "Palladium" concert venue in Riga on November 14, LETA was informed by "Positivus Music" representative Maija Anna Ludbarza.

This will be the band's only concert in the Baltic States.

After seven years of musical silence, "Garbage" returns with its fifth studio album - "Not Your Kind of People", which the band considers its greatest album.

"Garbage" is known for such hits as "I’m Only Happy When It Rains", "Stupid Girl" and "The World Is Not Enough". With worldwide album sales of over 17 million units and five studio albums, "Garbage" is among the world's most popular alternative rock, post-grunge and electronic music bands.

Tickets to the concert will go on sale from August 29 at all ''Bilesu serviss'' ticket outlets and online at ''www.bilesuserviss.lv''. The first 200 tickets will cost LVL 20.
