Huge interest for ''Brainstorm's'' summer concert tour through Latvia

There has been huge interest for Latvian pop/rock band ''Brainstorm's'' (''Prвta vзtra'') summer concerts in Latvia, as over 10,000 tickets were sold on the first day of ticket sales Monday, LETA was informed by the group's press representative Guna Zucika.

There has been huge interest for Latvian pop/rock band ''Brainstorm's'' (''Prвta vзtra'') summer concerts in Latvia, as over 10,000 tickets were sold on the first day of ticket sales Monday, LETA was informed by the group's press representative Guna Zucika.

Tickets to the band's summer concert tour went on sale the same day the band released its latest album - ''Vзl viena klusв daba''.

There will be 1,000 standing area ("mosh pit") tickets on sale for LVL 10 for each of the concerts, and they are already sold-out for the Riga concert. There are still standing areas tickets remaining for the concert in Preili (eastern Latvia) and Saldus (southern Latvia).

The remaining tickets to the Riga concert cost from LVL 15, and are being sold on-line at ''www.ekase.lv''. It is also possible to purchase tickets on the spot at the ''Spice'' shopping mall in Riga.

''Brainstorm'' will perform a total of six concerts in Latvia this summer - on July 28 in Jelgava, August 3 in Ventspils, August 5 in Saldus, August 10 in Valmiera, August 12 in Preili and August 17 in ''Skonto'' Stadium in Riga.

Before the band goes on its concert tour of Latvia this summer, it will perform concerts at several music festivals in Russia.
