On June 7, dogs from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Belarus, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Russia and Romania will compete in several rings for the right to receive certificates for the participation in Europe’s largest dog show “Crufts 2015” in Birmingham, Great Britain. Whereas on June 8, dogs of various breeds will participate in the “Riga Cup 2014” competition.
In total, about 200 various dog breeds will be represented at the shows, including such rare breeds as the Clumber Spaniel, the Australian Kelpie, the Czech Wolfdog and many others.
The shows will also include various events, presentations and obedience trials. Both shows will close with awards ceremonies, praising the best puppets, veterans, couples, winners in specific dog breed groups and, of course, the top winners of both dog shows.
Visitors will have an opportunity to consult experienced specialists about various dog breeds, dog grooming, training and other matters. There will also be a broad variety of pet industry goods and services available for purchase, and various special offers by pet food distributors, veterinarian clinics, accessory producers and others.
