The report states that Latvia's concept relates to "Expo Milano 2015" sub-theme "food for a better lifestyle", which will allow to present Latvia as the country where products are produced in a clean environment.
Latvia's motto will be "the Bee Garden of Life". A bee garden was chosen since three of its components - bees, water and humans - are essential for the successful existence of humanity.
With its theme, Latvia plans to address such global issues as environmental protection, biological diversity, material and non-material processes and their interaction, ecosystemic thinking. Latvia's pavilion could become a perfect place for seminars and conferences on the said topics with various experts from all over the world.
