Latvian cyclist wins "Tele 2" Riga marathon

Andzs Flaksis crossed the finish line first today, successfully mastering the 191km distance and taking the "Riga Grand Prix" at the "Tele 2" Riga Cycling Marathon today. He also received the award as the best young cyclist.

Estonian contenders took second and third places in the race, that lasted almost four hours, 30 minutes.

The professional cyclists started at 10 a.m. this morning. The 15.7km Family and Parade distances are still continuing. The 31.4km People's Class race began at 10.10, and it too is over.

Several thousand cyclists participated.
