As reported, a website with comprehensive information about Latvia has been created in cooperation with one of the largest Chinese newspapers - "China Daily".

The website contains information about Latvian traditions, culture, tourism and recreational opportunities, economic environment, business and investment potential.

They interviewed several high-ranking officials, including Saeima Speaker Solvita Aboltina (Unity) and Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ojars Eriks Kalnins (Unity), met with the heads of "Latvijas Finieris" and "Laima", visited the Freeport of Riga, "Rietumu banka", the School of Business Administration "Turiba" and the Confucius Center at the Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital.
