"Muse" attended by more than 11,000 people


A concert of the British rock group "Muse" in "Arena Riga" on December 13, 2012, was attended by 11,300 people, LETA was informed by the concert's organizers.

For more than an hour and a half, "Muse" gave an energetic performance of its greatest hits and songs from the band's new album "The 2nd Law".

Special effects included a huge inverted pyramid that transformed throughout the concert, symbolizing the hierarchy of power. The audience also saw dancing aliens and other surprises. Spectacular lights and a laser show complemented the band's breathtaking production.

"Muse" is currently one of the most famous live bands in the world.

The group has won prestigious awards - a ''Grammy'', five ''MTV Europe Music Awards'', five ''Q Awards'', eight ''NME Awards'', and two ''Brit Awards''.

''Muse'' also performed in Latvia in 2007 and 2010.
