Kanskis (17.12.1907-5.7.1986) dedicated 70 years of his life to yachting. He claimed countless victories and titles, including 16 Soviet Union champion titles.
Salacgriva is a coastal town, where the international pop/rock music concert “Positivus” is held every year. Now the town has become even richer, and the new museum will be appreciated in particular by yachting enthusiasts.
