Project "Use Latvian Design!" photography exhibition was opened at the Cabinet of Ministers' building today, aimed at popularizing works by Latvian designers.

The photographs portray ministers and Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (Unity) wearing various Latvia-designed clothes.

For instance, the casually-dressed Dombrovskis is shown standing next to a desk by Latvian furniture maker "Mint", whereas State Chancellery Director Elita Dreimane has donned a garment by fashion designer Natalija Jansone.

Justice Minister Gaidis Berzins (All For Latvia!-For Fatherland And Freedom/LNNK) is seen among ice hockey players, Finance Minister Andris Vilks (Unity) is slumbering in a hammock swing, Education and Science Minister Roberts Kilis is playing basketball, whereas Agriculture Minister Laimdota Straujuma is playing chess.

The exhibition will be on display at the government building until March 23, after which it will move to "Galerija Centrs" shopping mall.
