02.08.2011

“Positivus” Festival, which has in just a few years evolved into the biggest event of its kind in the Baltic region, will be held in seaside Salacgriva July 15 and 16 with another strong line-up featuring "James", "Editors", "Beach House", „Röyksopp”, also Mark Ronson and his group.

"This year we have succeeded in booking a maximum number of acts, because “Positivus" is not just a one-artist concert,” explains chief organiser Ģirts Majors. “This time out you will see many more popular and in-demand acts than ever before on more than just two stages, making the pauses between sets shorter.”

Headlining with his greatest hits will be “Grammy” and “Brit Award”-winner Mark Ronson, here in a new formation as “Mark Ronson & The Business Intl.”

Another festival highlight will be Norwegian electronic music duo “Röyksopp”, one of its genre’s leading entities for over ten years. Soothing and inviting sound!  -

Salacgriva will also feature the indie rock success story from the UK - "Editors". Platinum albums, the "Mercury Prize" for best debut and "Brit Awards" as best group, are just a few of the honours the group has earned, plus, of course, sold-out concerts.

Festival attendees who have tickets for both days will be accommodated in the “tent city”. A natural bonus is right nearby – the Baltic Sea beach, a perfect place for a pause from the intense musical happening – “Positivus”.
