Positivus festival announces "Red Bull Music Academy" stage programme

This year Positivus festival will host the fifth annual Red Bull Music Academy stage,first time located at the beach. The Red Bull Music Academy stage will feature some of the best international and Baltic acts, such as U.K.’s MJ Cole, Jack Beats and Riton, B.Bravo from the U.S., Poland’s KAMP! and Kwazar as well as Baltic performers DJ Rapa, OYT, Halfbrother, ELVI/DUNIAN and many more.

The Red Bull Music Academy stage will feature some of the best international and Baltic acts, such as U.K.’s MJ Cole, Jack Beats and Riton, B.Bravo from the U.S., Poland’s KAMP! and Kwazar as well as Baltic performers DJ Rapa, OYT, Halfbrother, ELVI/DUNIAN and many more.

On Friday, July 19, the Red Bull Music Academy stage programme will start with the Lithuanian house and garage enthusiasts Oogle Vision, Poland’s top DJ and producer Kwazar, Estonia’s intelligent electronica scene representatives OYT, and the popular local club veteran DJ Rapa. The evening will continue with performances by the Finnish electro-disco project Jesse &Jimi Tenor, the Polish DJ Eltron John, as well as the U.K.’s award-winning DJ alliance Jack Beats and the experimental remix master Riton. Estonia’s new talent scout Mr. Nestor and the dynamic DJ duo DJ Quest & Paul Oja will introduce the festival visitors to the best of the Baltic beats. 

Saturday, July 20, will fire-off with the Estonian electronic guru Halfbrother, the talented young Lithuanian musician Fingalick,the renowned Latvian electronic music duo ELVI/DUNIAN, the fresh Estonian electro-house project Shotman as well as the  deep house adventurer Firejosé. The line-up will also feature the Polish synthpop alliance KAMP!, the U.S. funk and R&B artist B.Bravo, the Estonian dubstep project Superskankers, as well as U.K.’s DJ heavyweights MJ Cole and Artwork.

On Sunday, July 21, some of the Red Bull Music Academy artists will provide the ideal summer beach mood from midday until midnight with the Sunday Vibes programme.

The biggest music festival in the Baltic States – Positivus 2013 will take place in Salacgrīva, Latvia for the seventh time on July 19, 20 and 21.

As previously announced, the Tele2 stage will host The XX, Sigur Rós, Two Door Cinema Club, Imagine Dragons, Crystal Castles, Tom Odell, Michael Kiwanuka, Jauns Mēness, Willy Moon, The Joy Formidable, Elektro Guzzi and Iiris.

The Nordea stage will feature C2C, Palma Violets, Charli XCX, Efterklang, John Grant, Team Ghost, !!! (“chk chk chk”), Suuns, No Ceremony, Zodiaks, Darwin Deez, Rasabasa, Twenty One Pilots and The Sound Poets.

The I Love You stage will feature Without Letters, Zebra Island, Momend, Anete, Franco Franco, Carnival Youth, Alise Joste, Bērnības Milicija, Deeper Upper, Markas Palubenka, Odd Hugo, Parára, Stūrī Zēvele, Them Lemons, Tribes of the City, Laika Suns and Sibyl Vane.

A three day ticket (without camping space) costs LVL 37 (EUR 53) and a three day ticket with camping space costs LVL 41 (EUR 59). The ticket prices will increase as the festival dates approach. The Positivus Festival 2013 tickets are available here.
