Pre-Easter events to take place in Riga on Sunday

In early April, ahead of this year's Easter festivities, Rigans and city guests are invited to various pre-Easter events - concerts and spring exhibitions, LETA was informed by Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department.

In early April, ahead of this year's Easter festivities, Rigans and city guests are invited to various pre-Easter events - concerts and spring exhibitions, LETA was informed by Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department.

On Palm Sunday, April 1, Riga Orthodox Chamber Choir "Blagovest" and soloists Vsevolods Melnikovs, Alla Povarova, Andra Muizniece and Jurijs Tjutjunnikovs will perform "A Song for the Great Lent" at the "Ave Sol" Concert Hall.

On April 4, the Riga Culture and Arts Center "Maza Gilde" will offer a truly Christian atmosphere and a pre-Easter concert "Adoramus te Christe" performed by the men's choir "Frachori", Latvian National Opera singers Kristine Gailite, Guntars Rungis and organist Aigars Reinis.
