Regina Spektor to perform in Riga for the first time in August

The world-famous singer-songwriter and pianist Regina Spektor will perform her first concert in Latvia at the "Palladium" concert hall on August 5, "Positivus Music" representative Maija Anna Ludbarza told LETA.

The world-famous singer-songwriter and pianist Regina Spektor will perform her first concert in Latvia at the "Palladium" concert hall on August 5, "Positivus Music" representative Maija Anna Ludbarza told LETA.

Spektor is considered one of the greatest alternative and anti-folk artists. Moscow-born Spektor moved to New York at the end of the 1980s, she released her first album in 2001.

So far, Spektor has released a total of seven albums, her music has been featured in countless TV commercials, series and films, including "Grey's Anatomy", "How I Met Your Mother", "My Sisters Keeper", "love and Other Drugs".

The artist has performed at the leading music festivals of the world and given many charity concerts.

Tickets to the concert will be on sale from June 12 at "www.palladium.lv" and "Bilesu serviss" outlets.
