Riga Airport's passenger turnover falls 10.6% in Q2

Riga International Airport served 1.29 million passengers in the second quarter this year, which is 10.6 percent less than in the second quarter of 2011, according to the Central Statistical Bureau's data.

The largest passenger turnover at the Riga International Airport in the second quarter of 2012 was with the airports of Germany - 171,700 passengers (4.3 percent increase on the second quarter of 2011), with the airports of Great Britain - 128,400 passengers (15.4 percent decrease), and with the airports of Russia - 119,500 passengers (growth of 13.5 percent).

17 airlines perform flights from the Riga Airport, offering flights to 79 destinations altogether.
