Riga is a very clean city and stands out with the fact that it is pedestrian friendly, the business information portal "Nozare.lv" was told by Raphael Sheffield and Antonio da Costa, representatives from one of the largest airplane manufacturers in the world "Airbus", who participated in May’s "North Hub Riga" aviation conference.

"Riga does not live up to previous stereotypes of northern European cities, that they are dark, grey and boring. We previously did not know anything about Riga or Latvia, and we are pleasantly surprised," Sheffield said.

On May 19, the third annual "North Hub Riga" aviation conference took place. The main themes of this year’s conference were innovation and the creation of new sources of revenue.
