Each evening in Congress Centre, live in concert will be two groups or solo acts.
July 1, don’t miss Germany’s most famous jazz man, the award-winning trumpet player Till Brönner . His unique style is bebop and fusion influenced, with traces of pop, country and movie soundtrack, particularly German cinema classics.
July 2, also in Congress Centre, another special treat – the critically-acclaimed “Beady Belle” from Norway, whose music incorporates jazz, acid jazz, intricate vocalese. Five CDs since 2001 from this group, the latest being – “At Welding Bridge” (country + pure urban cool jazz). Critics back home call them “a surprising combination of Bjork and Sade.” –
Besides Congress Centre, the “Rigas ritmi” summer session concerts will also take place in the “Artelis” Club and the outdoor venue “Egle” in Old Town.
