The well-known ice cream producer "Rujienas saldejums" has launched export of its products to the United States, CEO Igors Miezis informed the "Nozare.lv" portal TODAY.

"We have started with minimum volume, which we intend to boost in time. Right now we have sent one container. American clients are mostly interested in our vanilla, chocolate and maple syrup ice cream cones. We in turn continue our export to Scandinavia," Miezis explained.

Overall, sales are up for the company 20% this summer, he added.
