New research from the Post Office has identified cities in Eastern Europe as the most affordable spots for a city break. The City Costs Barometer recommends that travellers hunting for a weekend away without busting the budget check out Riga in Latvia, where a short break costs half as much as a similar break in Paris or New York, as News.Cheapflights.co.uk reports.
