On June 7 and 8, the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala, Riga, will host two dog shows: “Crufts Riga 2014” and “Riga Cup 2014”, bringing together more than 2,300 dogs in a variety of breeds from a total of eleven countries.
At the stroke of 18.00, 42 houses of worship in Riga will open their doors, and remain open until at least midnight, offering a diverse cultural programme, primarily musical with accent on the pipe organ. Also planned - sand animation, guided tours of churches led by clergymen themselves, and prayer sessions, to name just a few of the events.
Celebrating blossom time for the variously colored shrub, the LU Rhododendron Selection and Experimental Plantation „Babīte” on May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. will hold a special event where the LU Women’s Choir „Latve” and the Talsi Community Center Folk Dance Group Seniors „Draudzība” will perform.
The "Mount Kimbie" concert is one of the first events in preparations of the annual alternative electronic music festival "Satta". For its eighth edition, the festival will move to Latvia and take place in Pape from August 14 to August 17.

May 2-June 1 at the „kim?” Contemporary Art Centre, NF presents: From A to Be to See to D is an opportunity to see the works of painter Adriel van Drimmelen from Memphis, the multimedia artist Frederique Pisuissefrom Groningen, another multimedia artist Nicholas Riisfrom Osloand sculptor Evita Vasiļjeva from Riga.
