  • Night of Churches to be held June 6
    At the stroke of 18.00, 42 houses of worship in Riga will open their doors, and remain open until at least midnight, offering a diverse cultural programme, primarily musical with accent on the pipe organ. Also planned - sand animation, guided tours of churches led by clergymen themselves, and prayer sessions, to name just a few of the events.
  • Rhododendron plantation at Babīte comes alive
    Celebrating blossom time for the variously colored shrub, the LU Rhododendron Selection and Experimental Plantation „Babīte” on May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. will hold a special event where the LU Women’s Choir „Latve” and the Talsi Community Center Folk Dance Group Seniors  „Draudzība” will perform.
  • British electronic music duo "Mount Kimbie" to perform in Riga

    The "Mount Kimbie" concert is one of the first events in preparations of the annual alternative electronic music festival "Satta". For its eighth edition, the festival will move to Latvia and take place in Pape from August 14 to August 17.

    On May 24, the hip Miera Street arts quarter in Riga will hold its third annual “Summer Festival on Miera Street”, and a special programme has been prepared for the entire day.
