Abavas rumba Waterfall
The Abava Waterfall (Abavas rumba) is the second widest waterfall in Latvia. It is a single-tier, approximately 2 m high waterfall, formed by the river Abava flowing over a dolomite verge.
The waterfall is 35 m wide and about a metre high. The fact that the water on both sides of the waterfall is shallow makes it perfectly suitable for walking there. A recreation place – the campsite – is situated in close proximity to the Abava Waterall. That makes the place suitable for enjoying the waterfall, spending a night in tents, making bonfires and relaxing.
