Many poems were written in “Billites” and in 1933 in the gazebo and the upper floor of the house Virza wrote "Straumeni" - the most magnificent portrayal of a Latvian peasant ever written.“Billites” is now a museum.The creator of the museum is the daughter of Edvarts Virza and Elza Sterste Amarillis Liekna.The true heirs of "Billites" Amarillis Liekna and her son Eduards have returned here.
