The manor castle at Brukna was built in 18th century. Despite rebuilding it still has its authenticity. Come to visit and you will also see a beautiful park in Renaissance style and take a part in summer events.
About the Manor
The building is currently host to the religious organisation Kalna Svētību kopiena (Community of the Blessed Hills), which concerns itself with the renewal of the manor.
Here still remain:
- parts of the wooden finish;
- some original window shutters;
- doors with brass acorn shaped strap hinges;
- spiral wooden staircases.
Every year the manor is host to a Renaissance Festival and to arts gatherings.
The Brukna Manor House makes its facilities available to the public for banquets and other functions.
