Ceramic Artist Evalds Vasilevskis

Ceramic artist Vasilevskis is the founder and leader of the "Pūdnīku skūla" (Potters' School) group of the Cultural Fund of Latvia. In his craft, Evalds Vasilevskis uses ancient methods and techniques of firing pottery.

E. Vasilevskis fires his wares in a pit kiln applying the smoke firing technique. Ecologically clean environment featuring oaks, hundreds of years old. Accomodation in the artists's home in the countryside.
