Today Schreder's house is the House of Craftsmen where one can have a look at the world's longest amber necklace.In 2003 a campaign called “Leave your amber to Liepāja!” was organised in Liepāja, as a result of which the world's longest amber necklace was made of the amber pieces donated by the Liepāja residents. It is 123 m long and weighs 19.5 kg.
Here everyone has an excellent opportunity not only to see and buy handicraft works but also to watch how the masterpieces of craftsmen are made in the Saiva Applied Arts Studio.
