Jānis Čakste Museum at "Auči"

The home of the first President of Latvia Jānis Čakste. The museum displays include J. Čakste's study and an exposition featuring the Čakste family.

On Jānis Čakste's 140th birthday, an exposition about the President's life and work, and the Čakste familiy was opened at "Auči". The exhibition room displays for viewing the works by Jelgava artists. An orchard and a linden alley planted by President Čakste and his father add to the attraction of the "Auči" scenery.
