"Lejnieki", House Museum of Vilis Pludonis

„Lejnieki”, the native house of the poet Vilis Pludonis in Ceraukste village Bauska district, was included into memorial houses list in 1959. To save this house from destruction it was renovated.

By 1966 the house was inhabited by residents and rooms were vacated step by step. On 5 June 1966 the first exposition room was opened and the memorial plate was installed. After that tourists started to attend this museum.
