Open-Air Museum and Ragakāpa Nature Park

On the territory of the museum, there is a fisherman’s farmstead with characteristic buildings (end of 19th c. / beginning of 20th c.). You can see also a collection of fishing boats and anchors and the biggest rope collection in Latvia. Ragakāpa is a 800 m long and 100 m wide sand dam formed as a result of wind activity. The Nature Park Trail is shaped by four separate trails – Nature Scenes Trail, Insects Trail, Pine-Trees Trail and Plants Trail.
