The Pharmacology Museum is housed in a residential building, an 18th century architectural monument. Expositions feature the history of pharmacology and pharmacy practice, exhibit the 17th-19th century documents and books, pharmacy vessels, prescriptions, moulds and equipment for preparing medication, as well as medical products made in Latvia during 1920s-30s and these days.

The display features an alchemist's laboratory of the 18th-19th century, and a hut of a woman – a practitioner of folk medicine. The “Assistants' Room” exposition allows an insight into a pharmacy kitchen where medication was prepared according to doctors' prescriptions. A medicinal herb garden has been laid out in the inner yard decorated with stained glass panels by artist T. Grasis. Murals on the gateway walls feature the history of the building and Old Riga.
