The Rabbit Town

An open-air sightseeing object for both children and grown-ups, with more than 65 rabbit breeds on display. O. Narvils is a professional carpenter and makes the rabbit houses himself.

According to O.Narvils, the Rabbit Town is currently home to 65 rabbit breeds, and by autumn the number could increase up to 100. Ojārs has found a good cooperation partner in the Czech Republic who has been involved in rabbit breeding for 30 years and who now helps expand the Vecumnieki rabbit family from his tours to other European countries. In Latvia, the principal advisors to the Rabbit Town master are Ranta Legzdiņa, the oldest rabbit breeder in Latvia, and veterinarian Dace Kaula. Despite the fairly modest experience in rabbit breeding, O. Narvils devotes much of his finances and energy to the field.
