"Sautlāči" Farm

In this functional exposition, visitors can get better acquainted with "the green chemist's shop" of Latvia's nature, featuring more than 300 different plants, can learn to tie leafy twigs, herbs and flowering plants into a whisk, slota, for taking the sauna, to make aromatic pillows, "sauna sprites", "herbal baths", medicinal teas.

Herb expert Jānis Ulmis who has created the exposition will enlighten you on the astounding diversity of plants, their use in sauna wellness procedures, in aromatherapy, and for preparing home-made food additives so much required these days.
