Swedish Hat

A legend has it that "The Swedish Hat" hill is a burial site. The mound is said to have been built over the final resting place of a Swedish military commander and his wife during "The Swedish War" in the 17th century. Swedish soldiers carried soil in their hats to heap over the graves, and a linden and an oak have been planted in remembrance.
