Textile workshop "Austrumi"

Here the textile artist Baiba Rītere weaves her tapestries which have gained acclaim both at home and far and away. She tells the visitors about the specifics of the weaving process and the meaning of colours. In the workshop the tapestries made by the artist are on display in all their variety, as well as other kinds of textile artifacts available for sale or for order. Those who are particularly interested can apply for creative classes.
