Kolkasrags Information Centre

The most prominent cape on the Latvian coast where two seas meet – the Baltic Sea (the Great Sea) and the Gulf of Riga (the Sea Inlet), which is the only place in the world where the second native people of Latvia live – the Livs.

The seacoast plain also belongs to the Slītere National Park, which in the south ends with the ancient Baltic Ice Lake – the highest shore of its kind in Latvia. On its cliff the Slītere lighthouse is located.
