International plein air "Mark Rothko 2010" in Daugavpils

The event has been taking place since 2005, and this year will gather together 14 participants from 11 European countries for creative work, exchange of experience, and discussions. Rothko, whose work is usually described as abstract expressionist, is one of the central figures of post-war American art.
