Opening Night for F. Liszt`s The Lady of the Camellias
In the 2009 season, Latvian conductor Atvars Lakstīgala made his debut in Giuseppe Verdi`s opera La Traviata at the Latvian National Opera.
On November 18, 2009, Lakstigala made a successful debut in conducting the Berlin Symphonic Orchestra. He has also conducted the string group of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra as part of the Baltic Sea Festival and has received several international awards. This year Lakstīgala will conduct the opening night for F. Liszt`s The Lady of the Camellias.
