07.08.2015

In order to offer simplified, personalised and convenient travel for customers based on their individual needs, Latvian national airline airBaltic has introduced a new ticket type - "Premium", a middle option between the other two ticket types, Basic and Business.

"The new Premium ticket is a highlight, it is like a happy medium between the other two ticket classes. Premium tickets fall into the budget category, however, they include service at the Business check-in counter, fast track security check in at Riga Airport, ability to pre-select your preferred seat in the aircraft, a checked-in bag free of charge, and allows changes to the booking," explains airBaltic Vice President Jānis Vanags.

Just like before, customers can also buy the Basic and Business class tickets.

The Basic ticket secures the lowest price for budget travellers, and extra services can be purchased as needed. Meanwhile, Business tickets offer premium service at the airport, lounges, on-board meals and drinks, full flexibility and premium services throughout the journey.

airBaltic serves 60 destinations from its home base in Riga. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. The airBaltic fleet consists of 25 aircraft – thirteen Boeing 737 and twelve Bombardier Q400Next Gen.
