“Balttour” in Riga for the 25th time
One of the largest tourism exhibitions in the Baltic States will take place from 2nd to 4th February.
February has always been a month of carnivals and masking for the Latvian people, but for a quarter of a century now this month is made even more exuberant and jolly by the international tourism exhibition “Balttour”.
It is one of the largest and most important tourism exhibitions in Baltics, annually marking the start of the new tourist season and throwing a celebration for both industry professionals and travellers.
As usual, the exhibition will take place on the first weekend of the month — from 2nd to 4th of February.
850 tourism companies from over 40 countries will be present at „Balttour 2018”, offering to visit more than 470 stands and explore a variety of tourism destinations at the International Exhibition Centre Ķīpsala in Riga. The visitors will have the opportunity to discover new routes and travel destinations, celebrate cultural diversity, purchase trips and enjoy the hospitality of Latvia’s regions for three days.
As in the previous years, the exhibition will be split between two thematic halls — “Discover the World!” and “Travel Latvia!”. An Open-Air Adventure Zone will be organised at the venue.
28 000 people altogether, including more than 5500 industry experts and invited guests, visited the exhibition “Balttour 2017” last year.
