15.03.2016

New ARS clinic focuses on early cancer diagnostics.

The diagnostics clinic of Medicīnas sabiedrība ARS is open and awaiting local inhabitants and medical tourists from abroad.

“This new clinic now focuses on early cancer diagnostics, which is made possible by devices that are the first and only ones in the Baltics”, underlines Māris Andersons, Chairman of the Board of ARS. For example, investigations will be ensured by the only complete Philips Ingenia 3,0T digital magnetic resonance device in the Baltics.

The highly qualified specialists of the clinic also have the only Gemini lithotripsy device in the Baltics and other unique diagnostic devices which allow early detection of breast and gastro-intestinal cancer.

Opening of the diagnostics clinic and joining the knowledge of the best physicians of Latvia with the most up-to-date diagnostics devices is a large step by Medicīnas sabiedrība ARS on its way to becoming the first private multi-profile hospital established since the restoration of independence of the Republic of Latvia.

The diagnostics clinic has been established in the building of neoclassicism style, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century for the needs of the Red Cross of Latvia. The hundred-year-old building that holds the status of an architectural monument has been revived as an up-to-date medical institution with the help of architects, which will serve its initial purpose also in the future.

The diagnostics clinic is located at Jāņa Asara iela 3, in the green environment of Riga at Grīziņkalns. SIA Medicīnas sabiedrība ARS was established in 1991.
