Latvia's "Brainstorm" to perform at Glastonbury Festival this summer

The Latvian pop-rock band ''Brainstorm'' (''Prata Vetra'') will perform at this year's Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom, where they will take the stage the same day as the legendary ''The Rolling Stones'', the newspaper ''Diena'' reports today.

''Brainstorm'' will perform at the well-known festival on Saturday, June 29 at midday. The Latvian band will perform at the festival's second largest stage, called ''The Other Stage''.

The newspaper reports that ''Brainstorm'' received an invitation from one of the festival's organizers, who has previously seen the band in concert.

This year's Glastonbury Festival will take place the final weekend in June. All 140,000 tickets to the festival were sold-out within 1.5 hours.
